On arrival the case comes boxed with everything inside you need to install it. First impressions were that the strap is substantial, extremely well made and looks fantastic. It has a nice weighty feel to it (112g) that isn’t overly heavy but gives you that sense of quality and craftmanship. I went for the black and rose gold and it looks just like the pictures on the website and exactly what I was hoping for. It’s made from stainless steel (bezel) and silicone (strap) – both of which are high quality. The strap is flexible and sturdy and you can tell it’s built to last.
Installation was super easy for my Apple watch 7 45mm. It’s a simple case of removing the backing plate of the bezel which is held in place by 4 small screws (screwdriver included) and then placing your watch into the case and re-installing the backing plate – it took me 5 minutes from start to finish. You also get spare screws in the kit and 2 x silicone cases for your watch that you need to install around your Apple watch before placing it into the bezel – these silicone cases provide protection for your watch and also ensure that once in the bezel the watch doesn’t move around and is extremely secure.
The crown and the side button are perfectly aligned and work just as they should with the watch with both providing positive feedback when using. There is also a cut-out for the speaker which allows the sound to be freely heard.
One thing I really like is how you place the watch on your wrist – it has a butterfly buckle which means you don’t need to keep sizing the strap and you can just place it on your wrist and then close the clasp. There are 9 holes in the strap for a wide range of adjustment so should fit most wrist sizes.
This case gets a 5 star rating from me – since I’ve had it I’ve had loads of people ask me about my watch and they are taken back when they realise it’s an Apple watch. It looks high end and luxury and far more expensive than it actually is. It’s fantastic value for money and you’ll be extremely satisfied with your purchase.
